21 Lot Residential Subdivision – Penhill Street & Weyers Road, Nudgee


A development application has been lodged for Reconfiguration of a Lot, located at 83 Weyers Road, 58A and 62 Penhill Street, Nudgee.

Designed by Wolter Consulting, the proposal seeks a Reconfiguration of a Lot (2 lot into 21 residential lots, new common property driveway and the remaining land to be dedicated to council as parkland reserve.

The proposal includes lots ranging in size between 310sqm to 641sqm,  1.328ha parkland reserve, maintained drainage reserve, new driveway over the 26.80ha development site over three stages.

The proposed redevelopment will create a new road network from Penhill Street and further allotments along Weyers Road.

The planners at Wolter Consulting state, “A detailed site analysis has identified a balanced development opportunity which allows the
environmental values possessed by the site to be suitably managed despite the removal of some vegetation. The proposed lot configuration is considered to be the most effective and sensitively designed method to provide much-needed infill housing options within the Nudgee locality, while also providing rehabilitated environmental reserve/park area and considerable areas of offset planting on land that is not suitable for residential development“.
