199 Lot Residential Subdivision & Park – Loganview Road North, Logan Reserve

A development application has been lodged for a preliminary approval, for the variation of the existing Emerging Community zoning, located at 243-259, 261-279, 287-291 and 293-297 Loganview Road North and 465-485 Logan Reserve Road, Logan Reserve.

A development application lodged also seeks a Residential Subdivision and clearing of native vegetation.

Designed by Land Partners, the proposal seeks a Reconfiguration of a Lot (5 lots into 184 residential lots, new roads, local park, drainage reserve and stormwater detention bason) over four (4) stages.

Stage 1 – 54 lots, local park. drainage reserve, detention basin and new road
Stage 2 – 60 lots and new road
Stage 3 – 40 lots and new road
Stage 4 – 45 lots and new road

The proposal includes lots ranging in size between 374sqm to 2,092sqm, new 8,000sqm park, 4,768sqm detention basin, 7,373sqm drainage reserve and new roads over the 14.698ha development site.

The proposed redevelopment will create a new road network from Loganview Road North and Logan Reserve Road, with access provided to any future stages.



The planners at Land Partners state, “It is proposed to undertake a Preliminary Approval for a Material Change of Use (Variation Request to the requirements of the Logan Planning Scheme 2015 (Version 8) to vary the planning scheme to provide for the development of land uses consistent with the Low Density Residential Zone – Suburban Precinct”.

“This is consistent with the purpose and intent of the Emerging community Zone and the planning for the Logan Reserve area undertaken by Council.
The proposed development is considered to facilitate outcomes consistent with the applicable overall outcomes of the Emerging Community Zone“.
