The planners at Mortons Urban Solutions state, “The proposed development provides an interesting built form with a variety of angles, changes in rooflines, variations in elevations and materials; and spacing between each block. The development generally complies with the maximum building height for the site of four (4) storeys, with the exception of Block C; which is located at the lowest point of the site and achieves a building height of five (5) storeys”.
“Although the proposed height for Block C exceeds the maximum building height, given the site’s unique positions and surrounding environment it is considered appropriate as the buildings true height will not be visible from local areas external to the site”.
The proposal includes 2,672.89sqm (25.6%) site cover across the 10,441sqm site.
