The Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) has announced a new restaurant called ‘The Common’ has opened for passengers at the Brisbane Airport’s Domestic Terminal that will provide food, drinks and alcoholic cocktails.
Opened by Airport Retail Enterprises (ARE), which are known for their experience in airport food and beverage operations opened the restaurant and provides all-day breakfast & brunch, tapas, share plates, and the largest cocktail menu.
Located on the Level 2 concourse, the new fit-out provides glassed off spaces from the airport, with natural light and modern décor that is claimed to be one of the most ‘Instagramable’ airport restaurants in Australia, with its impeccably delicious menu that caters to all levels of appetite.
Martin Ryan, Executive General Manager Commercial at Brisbane Airport Corporation, outlined that he is proud of the partnership with ARE as they continue to deliver innovative and quality F&B.
“We are incredibly excited with the addition of The Common to our Domestic Terminal, as it offers an exciting menu and a unique atmosphere that we know passengers will love”.
“It is an exciting time to welcome another store to the Brisbane Airport family. With passenger numbers continuing to grow, consumer confidence is undeniably returning and there is a real energy and buzz that can be felt when you are in the terminal.”
John Chapman, CEO of Airport Retail Enterprises, said, “The Brisbane team took the time during Covid to develop the flavour profile of this menu and I am excited to share the results with staff and customers in the terminal. Today’s opening marks yet another step in the recovery of our business and the industry after a tough couple of years”.
