A development application has been lodged for a Telecommunication Facility to be positioned within the Nudgee Catholic Cemetery, located at 52 Childs Road, Nudgee.
A product of Optus, the Telecommunication Facility designed by Kordia Solutions Australia is proposed to stand at a height of 37.45 metres.
Development Details
– Mono pole facility structure
– Triangular headframe
– Three (3) panel antennas (maximum length of 2.7m)
– 3G and 4G (Optus networks coverage)
– Remote Radio Units and Amplifies
– Future antenna space available.
All electronic equipment will be housed in an equipment base shelter within a fenced compound. Access will be taken from Childs Road, via an existing driveway access.
According to the planners at Kordia Solutions Australia, “The proposed facility will support the objectives of the region by providing improved mobile communications service to the Nudgee area. Enhanced mobile telecommunications service furthers the region’s objectives for promoting
business and other emerging land uses which are vital to the region”.
“The proposed facility is an appropriate development for the region. The development for the provision of continued mobile telecommunications infrastructure provides a service which meets the needs of the Nudgee community and commuters in this area.”
