821 Lot Subdivision – Springfieldview Village 2 – Springfield, Ipswich

A development application for Springview Village 2 has been lodged, which includes a subdivision, parks and detached housing, located at 7001 Mur Boulevard, 1 Telopea Way and 7006 Panorama Drive Springfield.

Designed by RPS, the proposal seeks a Reconfiguration of a Lot (3 lot into 821 lots, 2 Active Park Lots, 1 Pocket Park and Roads), 821 detached dwellings over 23 stages. The western boundary follows Woogaroo Creek and Opposum Creek topography and provides a vegetated boundary.

The proposal houses will be provided on a mix of residential allotments ranging from 250sqm to up to 575sqm with parks placed throughout on proposed on Lots 9000-9002.

Access to the development will be from a new road connection to Mur Boulevard and road extension from Panorama Drive and connecting Village 2 to Springfield Parkway via Village 1.

The planners Real Planning state, “The layout of the proposed subdivision has had the benefit of civil engineering, stormwater, ecological, traffic and bushfire input. In our opinion it strikes a balance between maximising the use of an area that is zoned for residential development, protecting significant natural features and ensuring adequate access to nearby services and facilities. The proposed lot sizes and configurations are consistent with conventional greenfield subdivision elsewhere in Springfield and Ipswich generally, including Village 1”.
