The planners at Neylan Architecture state, “The development proposal represents a highly compatible new use within an existing neighbourhood centre. It provides a facility which meets community needs and adds favourably to the existing mature neighbourhood. The new building will replace an old structure which has outlived its useful life. The new building will enable the Tzu Chi Foundation to significantly enhance the services it provides to the community as well as providing a new focus for local community life”.
The proposal includes 1,810sqm of gross floor area (GFA), with 1,107sqm site cover (89%) of site cover over the 1,244sqm site.
