A development application has been lodged for Restaurants and Heath Care tenancies within the Jindalee Direct Factory Outlet, located at 11 Pavilions Close, Jindalee.

Designed by CCN Architects, the proposal seeks the internal reconfiguration of the existing floor layouts of the Direct Factory Outlet shopping complex to accommodate additional food, beverage and medical tenancies. The refurbishments will accommodate new pedestrian connections, outdoor dining areas and car parking.

The proposal includes the internal access road becoming active frontages, creating a greater sense of separation between the car parking areas and the centre as a whole. Additional car parking structures will be provided to support the customers and provide an interesting vista when looking towards the parking areas.

The planners at Reel Planning state, “The proposal will involve extensions to the existing centre on the site, consisting of a number of new tenancies within the existing car park, with a consequential increase in car parking. Additionally, an additional car parking deck will be installed above the existing decks. The proposal will not result in an increase in overall height of the development, nor cause any adverse impacts on the amenity of the locality as demonstrated”.

Ground Floor

The proposal includes an additional 737sqm of gross floor area GFA increase to the existing shopping centre on the 39,270sqm development site.
