A development application has been lodged for a Residential Towers, located at 65 and 67 Regent Street, Woolloongabba .
Designed by Cottee Parker Architects, the proposal seeks fifty eight (58) high density units within a residential tower that has an overall slim design to address the property shape. The building proposes a maximum building height of 12 storeys within the High Density Residential zone and has road frontage to Regent Street. The existing single detached dwellings will be removed to facilitate the proposed development.

Private open space is provided in the form of balconies and the proposed development provides 205sqm of rooftop communal open space accommodating outdoor dining, private bookable space, lawn, barbeque/kitchen and shaded areas.
The proposal contains 81 car parking spaces (73 car parking spaces and 8 visitor space) as well as 58 bicycle spaces are provided at ground level and within three basements.
The planners at Urbis, state that “the proposed development is consistent with the intent of the High Density Residential Zone by facilitating urban consolidation and the efficient use of physical and social infrastructure. The proposal provides a residential building that is 12 storeys in height, has a high density and is in a very well-located part of the city, within walking distance to the Buranda Train and Bus Station“.
The proposed development seeks a site cover is 587sqm (57.65%) of the 1,012sqm rectangular site.
