Payment Options for Online Gaming

There are various payment options you can use for online and casino gaming. Alongside well-established eWallets, there are some solutions you may not be aware of. Therefore, it is worthwhile to consider the full range of payment options available to you.

EWallets have experienced a boom in popularity as they offer a range of benefits to users. They are quick, convenient and secure. Furthermore, they facilitate a purchase or payment procedure when you are out and about and want to perform a transaction with a minimum of fuss.

Established eWallets
eWallets such as Neteller and Skrill have been around for some time now. Neteller was founded in 1999 and is a digital wallet that allows customers to send and receive payments online. Skrill followed shortly after in 2001. Both companies are now owned by the Paysafe Group.
Cryptocurrencies are also a payment option for online and casino gaming. The online casino PlayAmo is leading the way by accepting deposits and allowing withdrawals in Bitcoin along with other cryptocurrencies such as Dogecoin and Ethereum on its platform. Interested players can find more information about the payment options on the casino site and bonuses for new players by reading the Play-amo casino review.

It is also worth considering some of the new and lesser-known solutions available to use as a payment option, as the next Dogecoin or Etherium could be just around the corner, waiting for major platforms to welcome them. So, let’s take a look at a few.

New Kids on the Block
MiFinity was founded in 2002 and is based in Belfast. It is one of the lesser-known online payment solutions. The MiFinity eWallet is a digital bank account that enables customers to make online payments. In January 2022, MiFinity launched a Virtual IBAN which means users have the opportunity to link a free IBAN to their main eWallet. The advantage of this is that there are no fees when putting funds in your eWallet.

Zimpler is a Swedish fintech company co-founded by Kristofer Ekman Sinclair and Johan Friis in Gothenburg in 2012. As reported by Finextra, it allows customers to make simple and secure payments from their bank accounts. Zimpler provides fast payments and payouts and the eWallet provides 3D secure verification and SHA 256 encryption.

Friis highlighted the philosophy behind the Zimpler eWallet: “When Kristofer and I started the company in 2012, it was with a hope to create added value for our customers and make their transactions both easier and more secure. It is great that we have come this far – now we will continue to focus on developing innovative and value-creating solutions for our customers, and to establish ourselves in more markets and countries”

CoinsPaid is a company providing cryptocurrency payment services and personal wallets. It was co-founded by company CEO Max Krupyshev. The online crypto wallet can handle multi-currency transactions with a crypto exchange to over 20 fiat currencies. Customers are able to make instant payments in over 30 cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin.

So, we can see that there are many payment options to take into account for online and casino gaming. Alongside well-established payment options such as Neteller and Skrill, we also have cryptocurrencies, but it is also worth considering new and lesser-known solutions such as MiFinity, Zimpler and CoinsPaid.
