A development application has been lodged for the expansion of the Brisbane Distillery, to provide a new Bar and Gin School, located on the corner of Montague Road and Jane Street.
Designed by Architects Harry Poulos Architects, the proposal is for the refurbishments of an existing adjoining commercial building to provide an extension to the adjoining Brisbane Gin Distillery. The proposal is for building work to the existing tenancy adjoining the Brisbane Distillery to provide a new long commercial tenancy and to contain an elongated Bar, Retail Store and Gin School layout area.

The existing window openings will be enlarged to create an improved visual street appearance and casual surveillance with the Jane Street. The proposal seeks to maintain the existing built form, with the external building facade to be repainted and include new contemporary design finishes and signage.
