A development application has been lodged for multiple dwellings and retail, located at 4-12 Lambert Road, Indooroopilly.

Designed by RotheLowman, the proposal seeks ninety five (95) medium density residential units within a residential building that has a maximum building height of 12 storeys. Four (4) food and beverage retail tenancies will be provided within the ground floor podium level and a public meeting space for outdoor dining will be provided in the corner of the site.

Pedestrian access is provided to Lambert Street and Clarence Road via the ground floor pedestrian plaza retail and the residential tower foyer.

The planners at Mewing Planning Consultants state, “the proposed design and orientation will affordf all units with a high level of residential amenity including good access to natural light and ventilation and functional private outdoor space, connected to the main living areas, to maximise its functionality“. “The proposed vehicle cross over to Clarence Road will not adversely impact on the positive streetscape character that will be achieved to Lambert Road and Railway Avenue”.

The proposal seeks 11,458.1sqm of gross floor area, with 1,348.1sqm (50.5%) in site cover across the 2,593sqm development site.
