A development application has been lodged for an Early Childhood Hub, located on the corner of Middle and Crest Road, Greenbank.

Designed by Strathpine Design & Drafting, the proposal is for a Child Care Centre, Administration and Swim School across two (2) buildings with a maximum building height of 1 storey. The proposal is within a Low Density Residential Zone and will remove any existing structures to facilitate the development.

The proposed child care centre and swim school has been designed with an open car park, providing 36 car park spaces (one (1) PWD space). Pedestrian and Vehicle propose access is to Middle Road and a secondary access to Crest Road

The planners at Jensen Bowers Group Consultants state, “the construction of a well-designed and visually interesting early childhood hub makes a positive contribution to the character of the area and is an excellent planning outcome for the subject site. Furthermore, it is not anticipated that the child care proposal will have a detrimental impact on surrounding local amenity”.

The proposal includes 955.1sqm of GFA, with 1,285.5sqm (29%) site cover over the 4,435sqm site.
