A development application has been lodged for a Childcare Centre, located 2-30 Logan Street, Logan Village.

Designed by LRW Design, the proposal is for a Childcare Centre with a maximum building height of 1 storey (5.5m high). The proposal also seeks a subdivision to separate the adjacent approved service station from the proposed childcare centre. The site is within the centre zone and will redevelop a vacant site.

The proposed child care centre has an open car park on the ground floor, providing 27 car park spaces (one (1) PWD space). Vehicle and pedestrian access is proposed to Anzac Avenue and Logan Street, via a new shared driveway.



The planners at Property Projects Australiathe balance of the outdoor play areas will be effectively shielded from the childcare centre building, thereby negating the need for an acoustic fence for the full perimeter of the property. Given the nature of the surrounding uses, no acoustic attenuations is required to mitigate any potential offsite impacts arising from the operation of the childcare centre”.

The proposal includes 894sqm of gross floor area (GFA on the 3,015sqm site (proposed lot 2) part of the 18,065sqm development site
