A development application has been lodged for an Extensions to an Existing Educational Establishment at Hemmant Flexible Learning Centre, located at 56 Hemmant-Tingalpa Road Hemmant.
Designed by Carol Dowd Architect, the proposal seeks to establish a new Flexible Learning Building, a new General Learning Building and interceding Construction Court to providing improved onsite facilities at the school.
The proposed new buildings (239.91sqm of GFA) are not the result of increased student numbers and staffing will not increase as a consequence of the new facilities.
FLA Building contains
– A PE Storeroom – Maintenance and materials stores
– Construction room
– 8.18m x 20.36m
– Teaching and training space for trade skills (bricklaying and woodwork)

GLA Building contains
– Two (2) general learning areas

– 7.58m x 9.68m
Total GFA of the building is approximately 73.37sqm
