Greendale Village Shopping Centre Minor Amendments – Greendale Way & Scrub Road, Carindale


A development application for minor amendments to the approved Greendale Village Shopping Centre has been lodged, located at 15 Greendale Way and 270 Scrub Road, Carindale.

Designed by Thomson Adsett, the proposal seeks minor amendments to an approved retail Shopping Centre, which includes Woolworths Supermarket, Office, Heath Care Services, Food and Drink Outlets, Restaurants, Café and Speciality Shops and is outlined that works will commence on the development in 2018.

The proposal includes five (5) integrated buildings with a maximum building height of 2 storeys (approximately 10m high), which seeks to retain the overall building height, built form, orientation and elevation in a modern redesign of the approval application.  The planners at Reel Planning state that, “there is no change to overall building height and the built form, orientation, elevation and appearance is generally the same with minor alterations to improve bulk, materials, colour variation, way finding, landscape setting and entrances. The layout to the site remains generally as approved. The GFA is redistributed throughout the Centre between tenancies and with a new amenities layout”.

The Greendale Village Shopping Centre is for 5,955sqm of gross floor area (GFA) on the 2.106ha site.
