A change application to a development approval has been lodged for new refurbishments part of the internal food court, located on Level 1 of Carindale Shopping Centre, 1151 Creek Road, Carindale.
The upgrade seeks to undertake refurbishment works within the Level 1 food court area and reconfigure five (5) existing food tenancies and two (2) retail tenancies to extend the food offerings available.
The proposed restuarants will be improved by approximately 205sqm of additional gross floor area and another three (3) new food kiosks installed within the common mall area.
The new food tenancies seek to provide a range of dining improvements for customers following on from recent Stage 5 extensions in the other parts of the shopping centre.

The planners at Sinclair Planning state “the proposed new food court floor area comprises a 1% increase in floor area that will be used for Centre Activities purposes. No new impacts will be introduced and no change to any known impacts of the current operations on the premises will result”.
