The Hamilton Recreation Reserve is set to be expanded and redesigned, as part of Kingsford Smith Drive and Northshore internal road upgrades.
The land acquisition of the existing service station on Kingford Smith Drive has been made by Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) and has allowed Northshore the opportunity to redesign the park with further spaces included.
The proposed park will now include a large centred green space for cricket/football and open air, amphitheatre style entertainment facilities.
The $10 million dollar redeveloped park space includes lawns, fig garden, a picnic area, a dog park and water play facilities all connected with linking pathways.
The new design has been released and seek community feedback via the Northshore website by Friday 28th July 2017.
All suggestions are outlined to be taken into consideration and final designs will be developed and delivered as part of the Hamilton Recreation Reserve Park upgrade.
