Designed by ALTO Architects, the proposal seeks a single storey childcare centre over the site that seeks to achieve a 5-star rating in accordance with the requiremetnts of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). Proposed within the Carseldone Urban Village (Precinct 1) under the Fitzgibbon Priority Development Area.
The site is surrounded by the “Rockpool” Residential care facility to the
south and “The Green” Sport and recreation precinct to the east. The proposal includes landscaping deep planting, acoustic screening and setbacks of outdoor areas to avoid any unreasonable adverse impacts.

The proposed child care centre includes 22 car parking spaces (one (1) PWD) within the open cart car parking area. Vehicle and pedestrian access is provided to Plaza Place, via Promenade Street.
The proposal includes 888sqm of gross floor area (GFA), with 1,201sqm (34%) site cover, over the 3.538sqm site.
