A development application has been lodged for a Brewery, Dining and Entertainment venue as well as Office / Warehouses, located at Gold Coast Highway and Hillcrest Parade, Miami, Gold Coast.

Designed by Studio Workshop Design, the proposal seeks a Hotel (dining and entertainment), Medium Impact Industry (Brewery and shop) and Warehouse (office with storage) in a layout design that separates the land uses and provides each with its own frontage.



Two new buildings containing small office with storage units will front Hillcrest Parade and a new brewery, with dining and entertainment building will front the Gold Coast Highway. The proposal seeks to remove the storage warehouses, retail yard and upholstery industries to facilitate the proposed redevelopment of the site.

The proposal provides 38 car park spaces in total in both a basement and open car parking areas. The site is set up o that each use is provided with its own vehicle and pedestrian access.



The planners at Planit Consulting state the development, “The building design is responsive to intent for a development which co-locates individually defined land-uses whilst accommodating their individual servicing needs. Granted, the proposed development supports complementary land-uses which have little to no impact on the operational character of each other, the proposed land use also has little to no impact on development within the surrounding area.”.

The proposal provides 1,256sqm (51.5%) of site cover over the 2,429sqm site.
