The planners at I.B. Town Planning, state “The proposed extension to the existing holiday resort will consist of powered camping sites, that are designed for use primarily by caravans or motorhomes but are also suitable for normal tent camping as well. These sites contain sufficient space for large caravans or motor homes, the parking of associated vehicles, and enough usable space to also maintain separation to adjoining camp sites.”
“The proposed extension will maintain the same character that has been established for the holiday resort. All camp sites will be turfed, with landscaping used to provide a high quality of amenity throughout the park, including the use of shade trees wherever possible”.
The proposal expands the current existing use over the 6.77ha resort area (32.43ha overall site area).
