A development application has been lodged for Multiple Dwellings and Retail, located at 466 Ann Street, Brisbane City.

Designed by Bureau Proberts, the proposal seeks nineteen (19) medium density residential units within a narrow residential tower that has a maximum building height of 25 storeys. The proposal includes a single retail tenancy on the ground floor and a covered pedestrian cross link between Perry Lane and Ann Street.

The proposal provides 38 car parking spaces (zero visitor spaces) within a car lift and sky garage within the podium levels. Vehicle and pedestrian access is proposed to Perry Lane, with an additional pedestrian access provide to Ann Street.

The planners at Place Design Group state, “The development is consistent with the development intent of the applicable Principal centre zone code and the City Centre neighbourhood plan code. The proposed development provides a 25 storey residential tower, with commercial activities located at the ground level.

The development provides an arcade from Ann Street to Perry Lane that enhances the highly active and pedestrian-focused streetscapes at ground level. The development contributes to the highly walkable pedestrian network within the CBD and is located in very close proximity to a range of public transport options”.

The proposal seeks 3,987sqm of gross floor area (GFA), with sqm (80%) of the 486sqm development site.
