158 Lot Subdivision & Parkland – Hunt Road, Burpengary
A development application has been lodged for Reconfiguration of a Lot, located at 28 – 76 Hunt Road, Burpengary.
Designed by Peak Urban, the proposal is for one hundred and fifty seven (157) residential lots, new roads and balance lot. The proposal will remove the existing dwellings to facilitate the development over 4 stages.
The proposal seeks to produce lots ranging from 225sqm to 825sqm in area within a subdivision layout consisting of small and medium lots that will be in proximity to an Environmental Area.
Subdivision Staging Details
– Stage 1: 45 residential lots, road and greenspace;
– Stage 2: 54 residential lots and road;
– Stage 3A: 11 residential lots and road; and
– Stage 3B: 47 residential lots, balance lot (7.79ha), road and greenspace (including a Local Park – 9,900sqm).
The proposal includes a new loop road from Hunt Road Street and provide a new local road connections to the east of the site.
The planners at Peak Urban state, “the proposed Local Recreation Park will comprise an area of 9,900sqm and has been positioned centrally within the development to best service all residents and also helps to better service, buffer and protect the site’s biggest asset, the vegetated environmental corridor through the middle of the site. The master planned approach to this development provides an opportunity to protect, enhance and celebrate the valuable flora and fauna that exist within the corridor”.
The proposal seeks to create 158 new lots and road on the 16.5ha development site.
