Designed by Rothlowman Architects, the proposal seeks an office tower to complete the 5th (final) stage of ‘Newstead Central’. The building provides an activated retail and lobby ground floor, office tenancies sleeving the podium car parking and office levels above. The proposal has a maximum building height of 11 storeys and will be positioned amongst the 4 existing buildings of the Newstead Central staged development.

The vehicle access to the basement are proposed via the adjoining building manoeuvring areas and car park access. 80 cycle storage spaces are provided within the ground level and pedestrian access is proposed via a commercial lobby to Stratton Street.
The planners at Urban Strategies state “The proposed development locates a high quality office and retail tenancy in a highly serviced and accessible location. The area currently contains large residential towers and the proposed development positively contributes to the desired mix of development identified in the neighbourhood plan.”
The proposal includes 9,481sqm of gross floor area, with 1,762sqm (78% %) site cover of the 2,794sqm development site.
